On Sunday (30 September 2007), we had a time of prayer together. Thank God for those who were able to make it. Thank God for Melody, Chiawen, Daniel, Si Cheng, Gordon, Jia yi, Cassandra who came and prayed together.
We need to remember that we are doing a spiritual work and we need to be constantly on our knees praying and depending on God.
It's amazing that the script for the musical is coming out fine. Thank God for Si Cheng and Cassandra who is really a blessing and serving in this area. They are doing an awesome job! Thank God for raising both of them up in this area. I heard about the outline of the script and I'm really impressed. Let's continue to pray for Keep it up Si Cheng and Cassandra!
On to 'The Mystery Gift' skit, Lynn Shan has came up with some ideas of the script and has even written it out. Looking at what she has done really encourages me. She's really on task and enthusiastic! Let's remember to pray for her as she find the suitable people to act in the skit. Great job Lynn Shan!
Moving next to the backstage for the musical, we thank God for Jiahao who is serving in this area. Thank God for his willingness to serve and for him going forth to find people to help out and to find people to train them. Thank God for those who is in his team and for Uncle Eng Chuan to help in teaching the crew how to operate the lightings and sound, etc. Shine on Jiahao!
Audrey has recruited Jon Muk and Jessie to help her in publicity. She has been really cool, coming up with wacky and interesting ideas. Let's do our best in publicity and advertising to hype up the mood and to inform the children and church members to know about these events and pray and support us. We will most probably be getting the advertisements and sign-up forms for the Captain's Ball by this Sunday. You are doing great, Audrey!
I thank God for raising Baoyue to serve alongside me in this ministry. From henceforth, she will be my assistant and secretary. Basically, she will assist me, take minutes, bounce ideas, discuss stuff, and in my absence, she's boss!
I'm blessed by the enthusiasm of everyone involved in this ministry! Let's continue to be excited for the Lord! Let's glorify HIM in this ministry!
Some prayer needs:
1. Baoyue and Charmaine are having their exams which will finish in two weeks time and one week time respectively.
2. Benjamin, Audrey, Jon Muk and myself are having A levels in about one month time.
3. Si Cheng, Cassandra, Yvonne, Jiahao and Alvin will be having their O levels in about one month time.
Someone once said 'The world has yet to seen what God can do with one man wholly surrendered and consecrated to Him.'
But I say 'The world has yet to seen what God can do with a team of committed and surrendered Christians coming together in unity, with a common goal and vision.'
