As the year 2008 begins, it marks a new beginning to Children Ministry and I would like to take this opportunity to open up various ministries for you to serve in. Do take a look, pray and think through and let me know if you decide to be part of any ministry.
1. Welcome
To make newcomers feel at home and oldtimers feel loved and important.

Possible areas of service: Welcomers
1. Smile, shake hands of everyone who enters the room
2. Direct to seat, sit with and introduce others to the newcomer
3. Talk to, get to know the person, remember his or her name
4. Accompany the person after service during lunch
5. Inform Aunty Betty of any newcomer so that bridges may be build and the gospel shared

2. Puppets
To communicate biblical truths by the use of puppets

3. Sunday Weekly Activities
To allow for children to interact, fellowship and have fun by playing

1. Plan games for the children to play during the time after Sunday service
2. Activity time is about one hour (1pm to 2pm)

4. Drama Ministry
To communicate biblical truths using drama, acting, etc

1. Write script
2. One skit every three months
5. Worship Ministry
To draw people into the presence of God through worship, singing, instruments, etc

6. Sports Ministry
To evangelise and fellowship through sports

Possible areas of service: Sports event organisers, sports coaches
1. Hold sports matches for people to take part
2. Conduct sports clinics to draw people in

To evangelise the lost and equip the saints through teaching of how to play instruments

To allow for fellowship between children through outings
